Revisiting electroweak radiative corrections to b ? s?? in SMEFT

A bstract We revisit electroweak radiative corrections to Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) operators which are relevant for the B -meson semileptonic decays. The one-loop matching formulae onto low-energy effective field theory provided without imposing any flavor symmetry. on-shell conditions applied especially in dealing with quark-flavor mixings. Also, gauge independence is shown explicitly R ? gauge.

Electroweak radiative corrections to b → sγ
Two loop electroweak corrections to b → sγ decays are computed. Fermion and photonic loop effects are found to reduce R ≡ B(b → sγ)/B(b → ceν) by ∼ 8 ± 2% and lead to the standard model prediction B(B → Xsγ) = 3.28 ± 0.30 × 10 for inclusive B meson decays.
